Add StockThere are two methods:
- Set Stock Level: On the initial setup of a Stock Item you can set the stock level.
- Receive New Stock: Receive Stock from a Purchase Order. You’ll still have to create the Stock Item before you can do this.
Set Stock Level:
Products/Services > Items > Create Item
Create Stock Item
Receive New Stock:
Supplier List > Create New Supplier
Supplier > Create Purchase Order
Find / Add Item
Purchase Order > Create Item receipt
Check the Stock
Capturing and fulfilling a Sales OrderNow we’re ready to capture orders, we’ll walk you through approving and allocating stock to the Sales Order. We’ll then create a Shipment and Pick Pack & Ship the Order. Finally we’ll invoice the Sales Order. Note You can Invoice the Sales Order up front if you want, but be sure to do Allocation first.

Order Approval and Stock AllocationApproval: It may be you want all Sales Orders to be ‘Approved’ before initiating fulfilment. Read about it here.
Stock Allocation: Reserve stock so that it cannot be assigned to other orders. Read about it here. The default setting for Allocation is ‘Allocate any available stock’. You can change this by going to Setup > Configuration > Sales Orders.
Sales Order > Create Shipment
Shipment > Print Pick List
Shipment > Print Delivery Note
Sales Order > Create Sales Invoice
Sales Invoice > Receive Payment
